Tehama County Local Child Care Planning Council
Minicucci Associates conducted a Needs Assessment for the Tehama County Local Child Care Planning Council. Working with a committee of local child care experts and Planning Council members, Minicucci Associates compiled information from a variety of sources to determine the supply and demand for child care, identify gaps and to set priorities for the next five years. The needs assessment process included focus groups with parents and public hearings. A child care needs survey was distributed to parents throughout the county. More than 1,100 surveys in English and 200 surveys in Spanish have been returned by families with children. The final report presents results of the needs assessment and priorities for child care for 2006-2011.
