Youth Development

Minicucci Associates evaluates school reform initiatives at the high school level and youth development programs for children and teens.  These evaluations often involve complex partnerships with colleges and community organizations.

McGeorge School of Law/Pacific Partnership

The Partnership is part of the larger Pipeline P20 effort to increase diversity in the legal profession.

In the 2005/2006 school year, Minicucci Associates evaluated McGeorge School of Law’s partnership with Sacramento High School's School of Law and Public Service. The study includes documentation of partnership activities and an assessment of initial impact on student learning. The Partnership is a Pipeline P20 effort to increase diversity in the legal profession and in health professions. The study was funded by the James Irvine Foundation.

Mira Loma High School

Minicucci Associates evaluated the International Passport program at Mira Loma High School in the San Juan Unified School District. The purpose of the project is to create a small learning community to enable students who experienced academic difficulty in middle school, English Language Learners and special education students to succeed in high school. The Passport program is designed to ease transition for students in other Mira Loma learning communities, including the International Studies program. The evaluation includes an assessment of implementation and tracking student learning outcomes. The project was funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education.

Communities Organizing Resources to Advance Learning (CORAL)
