We design and implement evaluations for county First 5 commissions that meet state and local evaluation needs and support accountability for First 5 funds at the local level.

Minicucci Associates integrates state and local evaluation questions in a comprehensive integrated design for First 5 County Commissions. The evaluation measures the progress of funded programs in meeting the goals in the county’s First 5 strategic plan and annual change in community indicators of health and well being relating to the goals of First 5. Minicucci Associates designs and supports data collection, analyses results and provides regular reports to the County Commissions.

Minicucci Associates has served as the county Commission evaluator since 2003.

First 5 Plumas County

First 5 Plumas County allocates tobacco tax revenue to advance the healthy development of children under 5 and to strengthen their families. Minicucci Associates serves as the local evaluation consultant for the Commission.

First 5 Mendocino County

Minicucci Associates was retained in May of 2008 to serve as the County Evaluator in collaboration with subcontractor Ferron & Associates.   We recently completed a study of CARES in Mendocino County, working collaboratively with Commission staff and early care and education stakeholders in the county.
